Snyder's Marina offers general boat maintenance including winterizations, tune-ups, oil changes, prop repair, boat cleaning, trailer repair & wheel / wheel bearing repair.
Just call us and schedule the De-Winterization in the Spring : The Marina will capture the winter antifreeze, run fresh water through your motor and check the seals & fluid levels to insure no leakage occurred during the winter storage.
A typical Inboard/Outboard
Winterization includes:
Fog Engine
Fuel Additive / Stabilizer
Circulate Antifreeze through entire motor system
Check Fluid Levels
Check for Leaks
Clean Fire Resistor
Grease Zerks
Grease Gimbal Bearing (O/B - Steering Cable)
Change Lower Unit Gear Lube
Remove, Inspect, Grease and Reinstall Prop
Check Battery Condition

If - the Gear Lube is "Milky in color" this
indicates water in the lower unit. The
lower unit will be flushed with 30w oil
before putting the new gear lube in.
